Cooking in a Commercial Kitchen (An Orientation)

We are launching a new kitchen orientation.  It is a prerequisite for anyone who would like to cook in our kitchen. It is open and optional to anyone else, including employees of your business. The instructor is Jason, an experienced Chef from the Food Innovation Center.  It is 3 hours long and in the kitchen. Topics include:

  • How to use and clean the equipment well
  • How to handle food safely and tips for passing your inspections
  • General rules and safety in the kitchen
  • An opportunity to get to know your other small food businesses better
